We have just completed and installed this cow sort gate for one of our customers.  Dairy cows can be sorted from either the milking parlour, the office computer or manually from a remote control. The main advantage of this gate is the way the gates are hinged.  By hinging the gates the opposite way to conventional sort gates and moving both gates at once, a natural tunnel is created and it is much more gentle on the cow resulting in better cow flow and fewer incorrectly sorted or missed cows.
